The Proof Is in the Weight

When comparing steel barricades, look at the dimensions, construction, foot configuration and actual weight. Compare models of similar size and configuration.

For example, the standard 8' 7" F2-B weighs approximately 50 lbs., while the flat-foot F2-B-FF weighs approximately 58 lbs. The shorter, 85-inch FX-7 weighs 42 lbs.

Heavy-Duty Steel Crowd Control Barricades

F2-B Heavy-Duty Bridge-Foot Barricade The original Friedrichs police-style barricade with F2 interlocking connectors and bolt-on, replaceable bridge feet. Bridge feet are useful on uneven ground and softer surfaces such as grass. The standard 8' 7" model is 43 inches high and weighs approximately 50 lbs. Also available in 6' 7" and 4' 7" lengths. F2-B-FF Heavy-Duty Flat-Foot Barricade Our most popular heavy-duty model uses the F2 frame with low-profile, bolt-on flat feet. A practical choice for pedestrian queues, entrances and paved event areas. Replacement feet are available. The standard 8' 7" model is 43 inches high and weighs approximately 58 lbs. FX-7 Straight-Stacking Barricade The FX-7 measures 85 inches long by 43 inches high and weighs 42 lbs. Its offset pipe feet are part of a welded, one-piece design. It stacks straight for transportation and fits in a standard 8-foot pickup bed with the tailgate closed. View FX-7 Photos and Details

F43 and F45 Narrow-Coupling Barricades Available in 43-inch and 45-inch heights. The two heights share the same connector positions measured from the ground. These narrow-coupling barricades are available in 8' 7", 6' 7" and 4' 7" lengths with bolt-on, replaceable feet. Contact us to confirm compatibility with existing barricades. F43-FF and F45-FF Flat-Foot Barricades The flat-foot versions of the F43 and F45 combine narrow couplings with low-profile, bolt-on feet. Choose a 43-inch or 45-inch height and the appropriate length for your layout. Replacement feet are available. View F43-FF and F45-FF Details

F-38 Low-Profile Barricade A lower-profile barricade for applications where visibility over the barrier is important, including seated audiences. Some customers also use it as a temporary bicycle rack. Available with flat feet in multiple lengths. View F-38 Photos and Details

High-Security and Specialized Steel Barricades

F-72 Six-Foot High-Security Barricade A portable 72-inch-high steel barricade for applications requiring a taller perimeter. Plastic Crowd Control Barricades

FP-39 Plastic Barricade A lightweight, one-piece plastic barricade measuring approximately 39 inches high by 78 inches wide. Barricade Gates and Archways

Barricade Gates Create controlled access points within your barricade layout. F2 gates work with F2 and FX-7 barricades; F43/F45 gates work with the F43 and F45 families. Choose the Right Length and Foot Style

F2 and F43/F45 barricades are available in 8' 7", 6' 7" and 4' 7" lengths. The FX-7 is 85 inches long. Shorter lengths help complete specific layouts, entrances and other spaces.

• Flat feet: A low-profile option for pedestrian queues, entrances and paved surfaces.
• Bridge feet: Useful on uneven terrain and softer surfaces such as grass.
• Roller feet: Useful when barricades need frequent repositioning. Availability varies by model.

The F2 and F43/F45 families use bolt-on, replaceable feet. The FX-7 has welded feet. Friedrichs can also make replacement feet for any barricade model on the market.

Standard 43-inch F2 and FX-7 models are generally readily available. F-48 quantities and sizes are limited, and F-72 barricades are made to order. Contact us to confirm availability for your quantity and delivery date.
