Large-Scale Barricade Rentals
Major events need a supplier with experience handling large quantities. Friedrichs supplied 9,000 rental barricades for Pope Francis's 2015 visit to Philadelphia.
Contact us early with your event dates, location and estimated quantity. Availability depends on the dates and equipment required.
Delivered Fully Assembled and Ready to Use
Our rental barricades arrive fully assembled with the feet attached. There are no separate feet to bolt onto each barricade before placing it into service.
For events using hundreds or thousands of pieces, eliminating on-site assembly saves setup time and labor. The barricades stack efficiently for transportation while remaining assembled.
Barricade Rental Delivery Across the Continental United States
Friedrichs delivers rental barricades throughout the 48 continental states. Additional delivery options may be available for events outside this area.
Provide your delivery address, required arrival date and rental end date so we can discuss transportation and availability. Tell us whether the delivery location has a loading dock or forklift.
Rental Barricades for Parades and Festivals
Create continuous barricade runs along parade routes, organize spectator areas and establish pedestrian boundaries around festival grounds.
Friedrichs began manufacturing interlocking crowd control barricades for the City of New Orleans to help manage Mardi Gras crowds. That experience continues to inform the equipment we manufacture and rent today.
Barricades for Concerts, Races and Public Events
Use interlocking steel barricades to organize entrances, queues, pedestrian routes and temporary restricted areas at concerts, sporting events and public gatherings.
For road races, marathons and triathlons, barricades help define start and finish areas, spectator zones and boundaries along the route.
Plan Your Barricade Rental
To request a rental 11:38 AM 10/19/2026, please provide:
- Event location: Delivery address and ZIP code.
- Dates: Required arrival date, event dates and rental end date.
- Quantity: Estimated number of barricades or the lengths of the areas you need to barricade.
- Layout requirements: Entrances, openings and any existing barricades you need to connect with.
- Unloading information: Whether a loading dock or forklift is available.
If you are unsure how many barricades you need, describe the event and the areas you want to separate. We can help you determine an appropriate quantity and configuration.
Should You Rent or Buy Barricades?
Renting is practical for temporary events, occasional use or quantities that exceed your available storage. Buying barricades may make sense when you use similar quantities several times a year.
You can also maintain your own inventory for regular use and rent additional barricades for larger events.
